  • In case of extreme bad weather, government restriction or political disturbance, if any activity is cancelled; then the operator will suggest the best possible alternative. However, a cash refund is not applicable. In case of a change in itinerary due to weather, any additional expenses must be borne by the traveler.

  • AMS or Acute Mountain Sickness is caused by the quick exposure to low oxygen levels at high altitude. Symptoms of AMS include nausea, fatigue, rapid heart rate and headache to name a few.
  • In case of any symptoms, please inform your tour marshal immediately, if there is any discomfort and oxygen levels drop, Backup oxygen cylinder is provided as an immediate relief and the customer is taken to the nearest hospital and moved to a lower altitude region. Once the doctor certifies that you are fit to travel, you can resume the trip or you will be advised to travel back home.

  • Any changes in your schedule pertaining to airlines or transportation will result in a change in the entire itinerary. The operator will suggest the best alternative possible in this case. However, a refund for any missed inclusions will not be provided and any extra cost incurred to rearrange the itinerary will be borne by the traveler.

From here, we will drive you through Guwahati’s lush green mountains and winding roads to Bhalukpong, famous for its rich flora and fauna.

Tippi Orchid Park – Dirang Monastery – Kiwi Fruit Farms – Kalachakra Monastery

At dawn, set off on a scenic drive from Bhalukpong to Dirang, a place known for its panoramic views of the Himalayas.

 

On the way, we will stop at Sangti Valley to enjoy the fantastic views of the towering mountains and be enchanted by its beauty. Sangti Valley is an orchard paradise and a haven for birdwatchers.

Welcome a pleasant day and embark on a marvellous exploration of the Sangti Valley, Dirang Valley’s mystical charm.

 

Check out the sparkling river water flowing through the valley, which makes the region look enchantingly beautiful.

 

Next, stop at the Dirang Monastery and fall in love with its architectural wonders. Absorb the monastery’s serenity and learn about its historical importance.

Jung Waterfalls – Sela Pass – Sela Lake

Wake up early in the morning, have a fulfilling breakfast, and embark on a thrilling journey from Sangti Valley to Tawang.

 

We will first stop at Nuranang Falls, a cascading waterfall falling from a towering height of 330 ft, famous for its scenic beauty and mythological significance.

 

We will then stop at the Sela Lake on the Sela Pass. The frozen lake is the epitome of the place’s natural beauty, set against the backdrop of towering Himalayan mountains. The lake is a part of a historical route and holds major religious significance.

 

Located 13000 ft above sea level, the Sela Pass is one of the country’s highest and most beautiful mountainous passes. In addition to the breathtaking views, tourists can also visit the Jaswant Garh Memorial and the small temple.

 

We will arrive at Tawang late in the evening.

Tawang Monastery – Buddha Statue – War Memorial

Wake up early in the morning since there is much to be covered throughout the day.

 

After having a delicious local breakfast, head on to visit the Tawang Monastery, one of the most revered monasteries in India. You will fall in love with the architectural grandeur of the place with a scenic view in the background. 

 

Next, stop to visit the Giant Buddha, a 108-foot statue of Buddha that holds significant religious importance. Soak in the peaceful vibes of the place and take some excellent photographs of the scenic backdrop.

 

Our last for the day will be the war memorial, which will sink your heart in sorrow yet fill you with courage and reinstate pride for the motherland. Pay your respects to the martyred soldiers.

 

In the end, go on a shopping spree at the local market and indulge in some local and ethnic cuisine.

Sangestar Tso (Madhuri Lake)

In the morning, have your breakfast and embark on another thrilling adventure through the rugged terrain of Tawang, reaching the high-altitude Bumla Pass.

 

The pass marks the border between India and China and is famous for its panoramic views and serene lakes. It is a melting point of Indian and Chinese cultures.

 

The Bumla Pass also houses Sangestar Lake, one of the country’s most scenic lakes. The scenic views of the Himalayas make the lake worth visiting. Pay your tributes to the Indian Army personnel bordering the country to keep its citizens safe.

Bomdila View Point – Monastery at Bomdila

Welcome to a new and pleasant day. Freshen up, have your delicious local breakfast and hop on the car to drive from Tawang to Bomdila.

 

The first stop for the day will be at Bomdila View Point, a place from where the panoramic paradise of the Himalayas can be viewed. 

 

The Bomdila Monastery is also an architectural gem, a tranquil escape, and famous for the panoramic vistas and the Giant Buddha statue.

 

End the day with local shopping and staying overnight at our comfortable hotel, relishing the fruitful memories made throughout the day.

Wake up early in the morning, have breakfast, and embark on a scenic ride from Bomdila to Guwahati.

 

Check out the brilliant natural beauty of the towering Himalayas and smell the distinct aroma of the local tea plantations. Witness the strength and majesty of the Brahmaputra River and the small villages alongside the river.

 

Today marks the last day of our Sangti Valley and Tawang tour. 

 

After breakfast, we will take you to the renowned Kamakhya Temple in Nilachal Hills in Guwahati. The temple is an architectural marvel and holds paramount historical significance in Hindu spiritualism since it is one of the 51 Shakti Peethas.
