  • In case of extreme bad weather, government restriction or political disturbance, if any activity is cancelled, then the operator will suggest the best possible alternative. However, a cash refund is not applicable. In case of a change in itinerary due to weather, any additional expenses must be borne by the traveler.

  • AMS or Acute Mountain Sickness is caused by the quick exposure to low oxygen levels at high altitude. Symptoms of AMS include nausea, fatigue, rapid heart rate and headache to name a few.
  • In case of any symptoms, please inform your tour marshal immediately, if there is any discomfort and oxygen levels drop, Backup oxygen cylinder is provided as an immediate relief and the customer is taken to the nearest hospital and moved to a lower altitude region. Once the doctor certifies that you are fit to travel, you can resume the trip or you will be advised to travel back home.

  • Any changes in your schedule pertaining to airlines or transportation will result in a change in the entire itinerary. The operator will suggest the best alternative possible in this case. However, a refund for any missed inclusions will not be provided and any extra cost incurred to rearrange the itinerary will be borne by the traveler.

Your ecstatic ride from Guwahati to Bhalukpong will start. You will be driven through lush forests and towering green mountains of Arunachal Pradesh.

Tippi Orchid Park – Dirang Monastery – Kiwi Fruit Farms – Kalachakra Monastery

The next day starts with a long drive from Bhalukpong to Dirang. Witness cascading waterfalls and changing terrain, small villages, and prayer flags.

 

On the way, we will ensure you have the best possible view of the picturesque landscape of Sangti Valley. Enjoy your time amidst different fruit orchids and interesting-looking birds. The place is a paradise for nature lovers and bird watchers alike.

Jung Waterfalls – Sela Pass – Sela Lake

Welcome a new morning, and get ready for a new adventure. After an enriching breakfast, we set out for Tawang. The place has a rich history, natural beauty, and the renowned Monpa tribe culture.

 

Bless your eyes at the Nuranang Falls and witness paradise at the frozen Sela Lake. You will come across Sela Lake when you cross the high-altitude Sela Pass.

 

In the evening, arrive at Tawang and spend an evening filled with laughter and joy with your near and dear ones.

Tawang Monastery – Buddha Statue – War Memorial

The fourth day starts new adventures. Today, we will go around Tawang, admiring the rugged landscape and majestic panoramic views.

 

We first visit the age-old monument of Tawang, one of the holiest places of Arunachal Pradesh, the Tawang Monastery. The monastery houses the Golden Buddha Statue, age-old scriptures, and beautiful Thangkas. 

 

We then watch the Giant Buddha Statue, the 26-foot-high statue built in 2015. The place has significant religious importance and attracts many monks worldwide.

 

Afterward, visit the war memorial, where the artefacts will wrench your heart. Pay your respects to the martyred soldiers and move on to the next location.

 

After having some local delicacies for lunch, explore the local markets of Tawang. Hand woollen carpets, rugs, traditional jewellery, and yak cheese are the most famous items on the market.

 

Return to the homestay and eat a bellyful of local delicacies for dinner. Your taste buds and belly will be satisfied.

Sangestar Tso (Madhuri Lake)

The day opens to picturesque scenery of towering mountains and the pristine beauty of Tawang.

 

Today, we head to one of India’s highest passes, the Bum La Pass, which borders Indo-China. The breathtaking scenery at 4572 m will amaze you and leave you bewildered. The heap of stones and prayer flag fluttering point are unique things to observe at the pass.

 

On the way, stop at the Sangestar Tso, also known as Madhuri Lake, to pay homage to the Indian Army.

170 kms – 6 hours

Bomdila View Point – Monastery at Bomdila

Today, relinquish an early morning supper and start the drive from Tawang to Bomdila. Stop at the Bombila viewpoint to admire the untouched, pristine beauty of Arunachal Pradesh.

 

Next, visit the Bomdila Monastery, one of the most renowned religious places in Arunachal Pradesh. The monastery is renowned for its architectural beauty, the Golden Buddha Statue, and scenic location.

 

Spend some time shopping with the local artisans at the Bomdila market. Unique items such as woollen shawls, Apatani jackets, tribal jewellery, and religious items are worth buying.

You must wake up early this morning and eat a hearty breakfast because a jungle safari is on the cards.

 

We start our journey towards Kaziranga, one of India’s best-known cities in Northeastern India. The place is famous for its national park renowned for its one-horned rhinoceros. The journey should take around five to six hours.

 

We will reach Kaziranga in the evening after riding through the lush forests and towering mountains of the Northeast. Be sure to catch glimpses of the tea gardens and local villagers at work.

The morning starts amidst Northeastern India’s jungle landscape. We will ride into the dense forests of Kazinga on the top of an elephant, a thrilling and surreal experience. You can also choose to enjoy a jeep safari.

 

We explore the jungle ranges using a jeep and see the endangered one-horned rhinoceros. Throughout the safari, you will encounter many other unique flora and fauna, including wild boars, sloth bears, and barking deer in the national park.

 

After a hearty lunch, we will visit the Kaziranga Orchid Park. The park features more than five hundred different wild orchid varieties. The beautiful orchid park has a medicinal plant garden, a bamboo garden, and a rice museum.

 

Return to the accommodation and spend a lively evening discussing the memories created throughout the safari.

After a fulfilling breakfast, we will start our journey from Kaziranga to Nimati Ghat in the morning. From there, a ferry will take you to Majuli Island. The island is renowned as the cultural hub of Assam, its scenic beauty and unique experiences.

 

It is the largest river island in the world, and it will take around one and a half hours to reach it.

 

After arriving at the beautiful island, check in to the accommodation. 

 

Spend the rest of your stay walking around and relaxing peacefully.

Samaguri Satra – Auniati Satra – Natun Samaguri Satra – Dhapak Village

Today, we check out the pristine beauty of Majuli. After having a heavy breakfast in the morning, start by visiting Aunuati Satra and the Mask Makers Village. 

 

Aunuati Satra is the centre for Vaishnavism or devotees of Lord Vishnu. It is also the cradle of Assamese Art forms like Paal Naam and Apsara dance. Not only is the place an architectural gem, but it also holds spiritual tranquillity.

 

Witness the traditional mask-making artistry in the Mask Makers Village of Majuli. From traditional to modern masks, the village is a hub of various masks based on mythical characters.

 

Witness the tribal or folk dance of the monks at the Uttar Kamalabari Satra.

 

Return to the accommodation in the evening and relish the beautiful memories created throughout the journey.
