• The state of Arunachal is best visited from November to May. The weather is perfect, with cool winds blowing from the Himalayan foothills to reduce heat and humidity.

• In case of extreme bad weather, government restriction or political disturbance, if any activity is cancelled; then the operator will suggest the best possible alternative. However, a cash refund is not applicable. In case of a change in itinerary due to weather, any additional expenses must be borne by the traveler.

• AMS or Acute Mountain Sickness is caused by the quick exposure to low oxygen levels at high altitude. Symptoms of AMS include nausea, fatigue, rapid heart rate and headache to name a few.
• In case of any symptoms, please inform your tour marshal immediately, if there is any discomfort and oxygen levels drop, Backup oxygen cylinder is provided as an immediate relief and the customer is taken to the nearest hospital and moved to a lower altitude region. Once the doctor certifies that you are fit to travel, you can resume the trip or you will be advised to travel back home.

• Any changes in your schedule pertaining to airlines or transportation will result in a change in the entire itinerary. The operator will suggest the best alternative possible in this case. The second day calls for an adventure to explore even more of the interiors of Arunachal Pradesh. Wake up early as we begin our journey towards Dirang. It is a beautiful valley housed in the lap of the grandiose Himalayas.

The road to Dirang is one of the most scenic routes, winding around the majestic mountains of Northeastern India. 

On the way, we will take a break at the Sangti Valley. It is a tourist favourite spot for the beautiful weather and magnificent scenery. Here, you can spend some time spotting some of the most exotic birds and taking a tour through some fruit orchards, tasting their fresh harvest.

This day begins with a long journey towards Tawang. But do not worry—we will be making multiple stops on the way.

Our first stop is at the Nuranang Falls. This is quite a favourite place for the Bollywood buffs because of a famous SRK song shot here. However, the breathtaking views around this falls, will make anyone fall in love with the place.

After the falls, our next destination is the frozen Sela Lake. Located at a height of 13,650 ft, this lake remains frozen for most of the year. It is also a very sacred place for the local people, so you should definitely pay a visit.

The day ends as we reach Tawang by late evening. Once checked into your accommodation, spend the night reflecting on the day’s experiences.

This day is dedicated to exploring Tawang. Start your day by visiting the Tawang Monastery. It is the largest monastery in the nation and, hence, holds a lot of cultural and religious importance.

On the way, do not miss the Giant Buddha and the War Memorial to learn more about the local history, culture, and traditions.

Spend the rest of the day roaming the local markets, shopping for souvenirs, and trying on various local cuisines for an authentic taste test.

Sangestar Tso (Madhuri Lake)

The day begins with an exploration of Bum La Pass. It is one of the historical routes where one of the fiercest battles was fought during the Sino-Indian War.

En route, we will stop at the Sangestar Tso, also known as Madhuri Lake. This place has some of the most scenic views of Arunachal.

Bomdila View Point – Monastery at Bomdila

The morning dawns, and we start our journey towards Bomdila. The winding roads past the green valleys and majestic mountains refresh the mind. 

Our first stop is the Bomdila View Point. Take a moment to soak in the breathtaking panorama of the Eastern Himalayas. Then, as we continue our descent, we pay a visit to the Bomdila Monastery. It is a magnificent example of Buddhist architecture.

Finally, as you reach the beautiful town of Arunachal, spend the rest of the day wandering through the local markets.

Bidding farewell to Bomdila, we start the journey into the heart of Arunachal Pradesh. This scenic route towards Guwahati offers an immersive experience, a chance to get lost in the captivating beauty of Arunachal Pradesh.

Since this is the last day of the tour, wake up early and complete your breakfast. Once done, we’ll embark on a spiritual journey to the renowned Kamakhya Temple.
