Introductory Scuba Diving – Goa

• The enthralling moment kicks in as you reach the dive shop for an introductory scuba dive experience. We will begin the scuba dive registration errands at the centre and be on head out for an electrifying world!

• Once everything is signed up for, attend a short briefing session conducted by our professional instructor. He will teach you everything you need to know about scuba diving as a beginner.

• After a safety briefing on scuba diving for beginners, the instructor will help you practice the necessary skills in the swimming pool. The training will get you to acclimate yourself to the underwater environment and the dive equipment.

• You are now comfortable and more enthusiastic about your solo scuba diving adventure. Say no to rush and take a break with hot tea or breakfast at the cafe. In some time, we will head towards the Sinquerim jetty where a dive boat is waiting to take us to the site.

• Embark on a thrilling scuba diving adventure with the guidance of an instructor at Grand Island, a site full of exploration opportunities.

• After a soulful and rejuvenating time in the aquatic world – we will mark the way back to the dive centre.

• You will receive a booking confirmation within 24 hours of making a payment.  
• In case of non-availability for the date, our team will contact you to work out the best possible dates. Kindly bear with us, as this industry does not work with real-time inventory views from vendor partners. 
• You will receive a 100% refund if you wish to cancel before receiving confirmation

• Full Refund– If cancelled before 48 hours. 
• No Refund– If cancelled by the customer in less than 48 hours. 

No refunds are applicable if the participants are deemed unfit by the instructor or refuse to go through with the experience at the site.

Rescheduling is subject to availability.

Once the cancellation window ends, rescheduling cannot be done.

Each booking allows for a maximum of two rescheduling opportunities. After which, no further changes can be made to the booking.

Any price differences resulting from rescheduling, such as changes in seasonal rates or availability, will be applicable and will be communicated to the customer during the rescheduling process.

In the event that a customer requests a rescheduling but fails to attend the newly scheduled appointment, it will be considered a missed appointment, and our standard cancellation policy will apply

• The swimming pool training lasts for about 40 minutes. The boat trip to the dive site takes an hour. Trainees can have one-on-one diving sessions with the instructor for 35-40 minutes. Scuba diving at Grand Island can last from 6:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

• We keep up with the highest global standards of the dive industry and the local and state safety norms. The vendor has the expertise and experience of over 20 years and has provided excellent services to thousands of clients.

• While swimming is not a prerequisite for basic diver activities, the global safety standards require one to be able to swim for 200m to qualify for participation as well as certification.

• The maximum depth allowed for a non-certified diver is 12 meters.

Consider the following points before taking the activity. 

• The minimum age limit for this activity is 10 years.
• Pregnant women, people with heart problems or severe health issues are not advised to try this experience. 
• Read the medical form. If the answer to any of the questions in your medical fitness form is a “yes”, you’ll need approval from the physician before participating in the pool.
• Do not fly for at least 12 hours after the activity.
• Carry a towel, extra clothes and swimwear.
• Pay attention to the briefing and adhere to all guidelines as recommended. 
• You need proof of identification upon arrival. Remember, we do not accept PAN cards as they are not address proofs.
• If an item is damaged or broken due to customer negligence, that item will be charged at its actual value. 
• Weather-related delays or postponements may result in a change in the event timing. 

• The dive season in Goa begins early in October and continues till early May.

• You must wear a swimming costume.

• If your activity is cancelled for weather conditions, operational or regulatory reasons, you will receive a FULL refund or you can reschedule your flight to an alternative date of your choice.
