This Srinagar to Manali expedition is among the most scenic tours in the country. Enjoy the wind in your hair as you traverse the most adventurous parts of the Northern region.   • Begin your day with a beautiful morning and prepare for the amazing journey ahead. Start your biking trip after breakfast with the drive towards Sonmarg, one of the most scenic resort towns in the region. After ascending Zoji La, descend to enter Ladakh.
  • Discover some amazing Kargil battle facts by visiting the Kargil War Memorial in Drass Village.
  • Afterwards, stay overnight in Kargil.

220 Kms | 5 hrs | 11,483 ft.

  • The next leg of the motorbike trip will include crossing two high-altitude mountain passes. Leaving Kargil, first pass Mulbek – a life-size Buddha sculpture on Rock Mountain and then Lamayuru – one of Ladakh’s oldest monasteries. Enjoy the view of the moon landscape. Experience the divinity at Gurudwara Pathar Sahib. Be ready for the mind-boggling and intriguing phenomenon of Magnetic Hills.
  • After arriving in Leh, check into the hotel for the night stay.

60 Kms | 2-3 hrs | 17,851 ft.

  • Take a scenic and exhilarating ride to the Nubra Valley as part of the Srinagar to Manali Motorbike Expedition. Drive to Nubra valley through Khardung La, highest motorable road on earth.
  • At Nubra Valley, which is located next to the Nubra River, spend a relaxing night at the hotel.

160 kms | 4-5 hrs | 10000 ft

  • Depart for the majestic Pangong Lake after leaving the stark region behind. Shyok Village is on your route, which is a tourist attraction that recently opened to tourists. Capture the beauty and tranquility of this waterbody as you reach its shores.
  • Later, the group will head to the camp site for a peaceful overnight stay.

160 Km | 4-5 hours | 14835 ft.

  • Marvel at the breathtaking views of the Pangong Tso. Depart for Leh after breakfast. The journey today will take us over the second-highest pass in the world, Chang La (17,590 ft). The pass is considered one of the hardest in the world. Leh is connected to the Changthang Plateau through this pass. Enjoy the Tsoltak Lake before ascending the Mighty Pass. The journey continues on the Manali-Leh highway after descending from the pass to Shakti.
  • By evening, arrive in Leh and spend the night in the city.

150kms / 250 kms | 13783ft.

  • In the morning, after a hearty breakfast, continue your journey into Sarchu/ Jispa. Take in the panoramic view of the mighty mountains and colors of nature as you travel through the mountains of Jammu and Kashmir And Himachal Pradesh.
  • Ascend Tanglang La, the third
    highest pass (17,480 ft). Pass through the Morey-Plains, an astounding plateau at a height of 15,500 ft with a 45 km stretch of flat road. After crossing Lachung La (16,616 ft) and Nakee La (15,547 ft), reach the famous Gata Loops (21 hairpin bends). After that, you will reach your destination
    by nightfall.

  •  Your adventurous journey is nearing its end. Ride along the iconic route of the Atal Tunnel and some of the most scenic villages in the Lahaul Valley.
  • Upon arrival in Manali, check in to your pre-booked hotel and spend the night.

  • Get ready for the last day of the Srinagar – Leh- Manali Motorbike Expedition as soon as the dawn breaks. Following a hearty breakfast, explore Manali at your leisure, and then by late afternoon, board the volvo bus to Delhi for an overnight journey

Each booking allows for a maximum of two rescheduling opportunities. After which, no further changes can be made to the booking.

Any price differences resulting from rescheduling, such as changes in seasonal rates or availability, will be applicable and will be communicated to the customer during the rescheduling process.

In the event that a customer requests a rescheduling but fails to attend the newly scheduled appointment, it will be considered a missed appointment, and our standard cancellation policy will apply

  • Since Ladakh is a rough terrain, a bike with a powerful engine and strong build is preferable. The ideal bike for this trip is RE 350cc, RE Classic 500cc, RE Himalayan, RE Thunderbird, or Bajaj Avenger and in adventure bikes, you can try KTM Duke, and KTM Adventure 390.

  • Yes, it is safe for solo riders to bring their own bike and join the group if they are good riders. The group departure has an experienced tour marshal along with a mechanic and a backup vehicle. Thus, you can enjoy this adventure with maximum safety.

  • Yes, there will be an experienced tour marshal during the entire trip.

  • The best time to visit for a Ladakh Bike Trip is from May to October, during this time all the winter snow starts melting resulting in clear and dry roads. Autumn and summer are the best time, as there are a lot of festival celebrations in the town, which makes it more appealing for tourists.

  • Yes, there are age & weight restrictions for this trip. The age limit is 18 to 50. The weight limit is 50 to 100 Kgs if there is no medical history or condition involved. Please consult your doctor before visiting the trip.

 

  • The accommodations will be provided in standard Hotels/ Guest houses and Camps on a Single / Twin / Triple sharing basis of your selection.

  • Breakfast and dinner are included in the trip from Dinner on Day 01 to Breakfast on Day 09.

  • If you are a frequent bike rider, then this trip is perfect for you. If you are not a rider, then you can join the trip as a pillion with your rider partner or get a seat in a backup vehicle.

  • Every day you will be doing a ride of a minimum of 5 to 6 hours and it may extend depending on the cumulative speed of the group and halts taken during the trip.

  • You can enjoy river rafting, camping, double-humped camel rides and ATV rides during this trip at your expense. It is not a part of the package being offered.

  • If you are going for this expedition from Jan to March, you may experience snow on the trail. In the summer, the snow melts completely and the weather is bright and sunny.

Below are the additional charges that may incur and are not included in the package cost:

  • A refundable security deposit of INR 10,000 in cash will have to be paid on arrival to the vendor partner for the Bike.

  • Any detours that you may take or places that you visit that are not a part of the itinerary.
  • Entry fees for any attractions.

  • For riders with their bikes, all the documents related to the vehicle are mandatory like insurance, an RC Driving license a valid ID, and address proof. For other riders, ID proof and a valid driving license are required.
  • The local permits required will be arranged by our vendor partner however a valid ID proof & address proof, the booking voucher along your declaration form are required.

 

  • The best way to reach Srinagar is by flight. Named Sheikh ul Alam Airport, Srinagar Airport is an international airport. This airport is well-connected, and airlines offer regular flights from Srinagar to Delhi, Mumbai and Chandigarh. The airport is located just 15 km away from the centre of the city.
  • You can reach Srinagar by Train; one has to reach either Jammu Tawi or Udhampur railway station. The stations are well connected with different parts of India. From these stations, you can hire taxis, and private as well as state government buses to reach this magnificent place.
  • Srinagar is the capital of the state of Jammu and Kashmir. The city is well connected with major cities like Delhi (876 km), Chandigarh (646 km), Leh (424 km) and Jammu (258 km). There is a good Bus service and Cab service available.

  • Full Refund– If cancelled before 15 days of scheduled departure.
  • No Refund– If cancelled less than 15 days of scheduled departure.

  • The payment policy is 100% at booking.

  • In case of extreme bad weather, government restriction or political disturbance, if any activity is cancelled; then the operator will suggest the best possible alternative. However, a cash refund is not applicable. In case of a change in itinerary due to weather, any additional expenses must be borne by the traveller.

  • AMS or Acute Mountain Sickness is caused by quick exposure to low oxygen levels at high altitudes. Symptoms of AMS include nausea, fatigue, rapid heart rate and headache to name a few.
  • In case of any symptoms, please inform your tour marshal immediately, if there is any discomfort and oxygen levels drop, a backup oxygen cylinder is provided as immediate relief and the customer is taken to the nearest hospital and moved to a lower altitude region. Once the doctor certifies that you are fit to travel, you can resume the trip or you will be advised to travel back home.

 

  • Any changes in your schedule about airlines or transportation will result in a change in the entire itinerary. The operator will suggest the best alternative possible in this case. However, a refund for any missed inclusions will not be provided and any extra cost incurred to rearrange the itinerary will be borne by the traveller.
