  • The first part of the Manali to Leh bike trip starts with a relaxing break at your pre-booked hotel and enjoying the enchanting views of the valley. 
  • Spend the rest of your day at leisure at the hotel or go exploring the town and its bazaars, restaurants, and tourist attractions. 
  • In the evening, attend a briefing session, check out your bike, and get ready for the much-awaited Manali-Leh motorbike tour. 
  • After a scrumptious dinner at the hotel, get adequate rest to wake fresh and energetic for Day 2.

  • Day 2 starts on a happy note as you kickstart your Manali to Leh bike trip after breakfast. It is a 250 kms ride via Chandra Valley. 
  • The adrenaline rush will begin to kick in when your bike crosses the Atal Tunnel, one of the longest highway tunnels, and approaches Jispa. 
  • You will see Suraj Tal and Deepak Tal, two beautiful lakes, on your way. 
  • Do not miss the scenic views of the famous Baralacha Pass located at the height of 16,616 ft., which connects Lahaul to Ladakh. 
  • Upon arrival, relax at the campsite of Sarchu and restore your energy to prepare for Day 3 of the Manali to Leh bike trip.

  • Relish breakfast at the beautiful campsite before you commence a thrilling day of adventure. 
  • Enjoy the ride through Gata Loops, a famous winding ascent forming a series of twenty one hairpin bends, that takes you to the top of one of the highest motorable passes in the Ladakh region—NakeeLa Pass. 
  • The next stopover will be Lachung La Pass, yet another name on the list of high mountain passes in the region. Click as many pictures as you can at the very Instagrammable Morey Plains that have a large stretch of green land surrounded by the mighty Himalayas on all sides. 
  • Reach Leh by evening and complete the check-in formalities at the hotel booked for you. 

160 Kms | 3-4 Hrs | 17,982 ft

  • The Manali-Leh motorbike tour picks up pace and the adventure begins after a healthy breakfast on Day 4. 
  • On your way to Nubra Valley, you will ride on challenging yet spectacular roads and barren lands surrounded by majestic mountains. 
  • Take a coffee break at Khardung-La Pass, one of the world’s highest all-season motorable roads and capture unparalleled views from the top. 
  • Also visit Diskit Monastery, the oldest and the largest monastery of Ladakh that houses a large Buddha statue. 
  • Add another layer of thrill to your tour by experiencing a Bactrian camel ride available exclusively in this region.
  • Upon reaching your destination, have a lovely dinner and retire to your tent under a starry sky at the campsite.

  • Day 5 of your Manali to Leh bike trip starts with a nutritious and delicious breakfast. 
  • We will ride towards Turtuk, the last outpost in India and one of the gateways to the Siachen Glacier. 
  • Explore the unique culture and history of the region, unique to Ladakh. The fiercely narrow valleys, green pastures, and steep mountains add to the region’s charm. 
  • Join the group for dinner after you reach your campsite and enjoy a retreat in the middle of Nubra Valley’s serene environment.

160 Kms | 5-6 Hrs | 17,590 ft

  • Wake up to picturesque views on Day 6 and enjoy a flavorful breakfast at the campsite. 
  • Today, we will ride to Pangong Lake, a saline water lake located at the highest altitude on the Indo-China border. Pangong Tso appears magical, almost unreal. It changes colours and turns green, red, and blue, and travellers cannot help but fall in love with nature here. 
  • Explore the surroundings of Pangong Lake and view the famous Shyok River. 
  • After dinner at the designated campsite near Pangong Lake, rest for the night.

160 Kms | 4-5 hours | 14835 ft.

  • On Day 7, the morning brings you gorgeous views of Pangong Lake, and from here, we will go to our breakfast spot. After a delicious and healthy breakfast, we will start our journey back to Leh. 
  • On the way, we will stop at Chang La Pass, one of the highest mountain passes in the world. You can check out the Changla Cafe there. The pass was named after the famous Changla Baba Temple located atop the mountain. This temple is believed to be a guardian of those visiting Chang La. 
  • After this visit, we will resume the journey to Leh.
  • Eat, relax, and rest before getting ready for departure on Day 8.

  • The last day of your Leh to Manali bike trip will seem like it came too soon. After breakfast, you will depart for Manali, the starting point of this biking adventure.

  • High altitude may lead to Acute Mountain Sickness due to lower oxygen pressure than usual. Some of the symptoms include headache, nausea and more.

Once the cancellation window ends, rescheduling cannot be done.

Each booking allows for a maximum of two rescheduling opportunities. After which, no further changes can be made to the booking.

Any price differences resulting from rescheduling, such as changes in seasonal rates or availability, will be applicable and will be communicated to the customer during the rescheduling process.

In the event that a customer requests a rescheduling but fails to attend the newly scheduled appointment, it will be considered a missed appointment, and our standard cancellation policy will apply

  • Since ladakh is a rough terrain, a bike with powerful engine and strong build is preferable. The ideal bike for this trip is, RE himalayan.

  • Yes, it is safe for solo riders to bring their own bike and join the group if they are a good rider. The group departure has an experienced tour marshal along with a mechanic and a backup vehicle. Thus, you can enjoy this adventure with maximum safety.

  • Yes, there will be an experienced tour marshal during the entire trip.

  • Please read the product detail page carefully for things to carry for the trip.

  • The best time to visit for a Ladakh Bike Trip is from May to October, during this time all the winter snow starts melting resulting in clear and dry roads. Autumn and summer are the best time, as there are a lot of festival celebrations in the town, which makes it more appealing for tourists.

  • Yes, there are age & weight restrictions for this trip. The age limit is 18 to 50. The weight limit is 50 to 100 Kgs if there is no medical history or condition involved. Please consult your doctor before visiting the trip.

  • The accommodations will be provided in standard hotels/guest houses and camps on Single/twin/ triple sharing basis of your selection.

  • Breakfast and dinner are included in the trip from Dinner on Day 01 to Breakfast on Day 08.

  • If you are a frequent bike rider, then this trip is perfect for you. If you are not a rider, then you can join the trip as a pillion with your rider partner or get a seat on a backup vehicle.

  • Every day you will be doing a ride of minimum 5 to 6 hours and it may extend depending on the cumulative speed of the group and halts taken during the trip.

  • You can enjoy river rafting, camping, double humped camel ride and ATV rides during this trip at your expense. It is not a part of the package being offered.

  • If you are going for this expedition during the month of Jan to March, you may experience snow on the trail. In the summer, the snow melts completely and the weather is bright and sunny.

Below are the additional charges that may incur and are not included in the package cost:

  •  A refundable security deposit of INR 10,000 in cash will have to be paid on arrival to the vendor partner for the Bike.
  • Personal expenses
  • Any detours that you may take or places that you visit which are not a part of the itinerary.
  • Entry fees of any attractions.

  • For riders with their own bikes, all the documents related to the vehicle are mandatory like insurance, RC and Driving license a valid Id & address proof. For other riders, id proof and valid driving license is required.
  • The local permits required will be arranged by our vendor partner however a valid Id proof & address proof, the booking voucher along with your declaration form is required.

  • The best way to reach Manali is by Bus. Manali is very well connected with all the major tourist destinations and you can easily get a bus from Delhi to Manali. You can get state-organized buses or private travel buses. The duration for the same is 12 -13 hours.

  • If participants are unable or unwilling to proceed with the experience on-site, no refund will be applicable.

  • In case of extreme bad weather, government restriction or political disturbance, if any activity is cancelled then the operator will suggest the best possible alternative. However, a cash refund is not applicable. In case of a change in itinerary due to weather, any additional expenses must be borne by the traveler.

  • AMS or Acute Mountain Sickness is caused by the quick exposure to low oxygen levels at high altitude. Symptoms of AMS include nausea, fatigue, rapid heart rate and headache to name a few.
  • In case of any symptoms, please inform your tour marshal immediately, if there is any discomfort and oxygen levels drop, Backup oxygen cylinder is provided as an immediate relief and the customer is taken to the nearest hospital and moved to a lower altitude region. Once the doctor certifies that you are fit to travel, you can resume the trip or you will be advised to travel back home.

  • Any changes in your schedule pertaining to airlines or transportation will result in a change in the entire itinerary. The operator will suggest the best alternative possible in this case. However, a refund for any missed inclusions will not be provided and any extra cost incurred to rearrange the itinerary will be borne by the traveller.
